My First Yoga Course
You know,not everyone can do the splits.Your body shoudn’t be so soft unless you practise dance since a child.It is incredible that a 60 year old woman can do splits and difficult movements easily.But I saw that with my own eyes.That happened in my first yoga course.That’s why I continue to do yoga.
I know yoga from one of my friends 1 years ago.She is a lady who always wants to be pretty.She went to the yoga class three times a week.One day we made a agreement to go shopping together. She asked if I would go to yoga class with her before we go to the mall.I agreed with that because I also want to know about yoga.
We arrived there a little late, the course started.When I entered the yoga room,I saw there were many women of different ages.The youngest maybe 15 and the oldest must over 60.All of them practise yoga more than 2 years.I surprised when I saw a old woman do the splits and backbend with ease.I thought she must be a professional dancer since she was young.After class I asked the aunt,to confirm my guess.Unexpectedly she said she isn’t,and told me she was a cervical spondylosis patient before she came here.And she was eaten up with the body aches for a long time.Even she can’t do the heavy house-work.I was not fully convinced actually,I thought it is unbelievable.
I told my friend that I came to take an interest in yoga, and then we ask the teacher for some details.The teacher was an elegant woman with a perfect body.First, she showed me some pictures and network information.It says yoga really can help people to shape their bodies and maintain our health. She told me not only does yoga build strength and flexibility,it is also good for the soul.The yoga course is helpful to people to release their press,improve their health and enjoy sports.
After got a good understanding of yoga,I decided to join the course on that day.In view of I have no any experiences before,I started with squats and leg presses.It s very simple but also hard for me.My leg and waist felt extremly sore,the sweat run down like raindrops after 30 minutes.But i felt a sense of achievement when I finished my first class.
So far I have done yoga over 1 year, 3 times a week,and the first class is still fresh in my mind.Actually after the first week, the practise will not as hurt as much the first time,instead it make you feel relaxed after practise.I am glad I didn’t give up from the start,and I become more and more confident with my fitness.We need a spirit of strength and perseverance,even though it is the hardest task.
